Jurassic Park is located on the west side of Highway 7 just a few miles south of Estes Park, at the Lily Lake area.
Jurassic Park is a collection of granite fins and spires. Most of the climbing here is single-pitch sport climbing, with difficulty ranging from 5.6 to 5.12. With its proximity to Estes and short approach and scenic location, this area is very popular. The iconic Fin feature graces the cover of Gillett's Estes Park climbing guidebook.
The first time I climbed at Jurassic Park was in June 2020. Since then I have returned occasionally for a quick after-work cragging session with Nate.
On this page, I give photos from climbing at Jurassic Park, organized by date. At the bottom of the page, I keep a list of the climbs I've done at Jurassic Park.
