Enjoying a warm December day on the rock. This was one of my first times carrying a full pack since a knee surgery (ACL+meniscus) three months previous. It felt great to be out and back on the rock.
Wearing a knee brace on the approach to protect my healing ACL and meniscus repairs.

Exactly a year later, we (Nate, Scott, and I) returned for another pleasant day of cragging in the December sun. Bernard and Paul showed up later in the afternoon, so the whole crew was there for a bit. It was a bit of a high gravity day on the rock, but still an enjoyable day out!

Hiking out after a pleasant day of climbing. Just 3pm and sun already set below the ridge.

Back for another glorious winter day climbing on sunny warm granite. Was a great day of climbing: 9 pitches from 5.9 to 5.11.

Exploring a couple of really nice 5.11c routes that have recently been added to the area.
A warm up 5.10 at the Upper Crag. This route is one of the oldest routes at the crag.
Nate belaying Bernard (who showed up for a pitch of climbing) on the 11c at the Upper Crag. This is my new favorite route at Kenny Mountain.

We climbed two pitches before deciding it was too cold and hiked out to make plans for finding sun over Thanksgiving.

A pleasant 50 degree winter day. 8 pitches of climbing from 5.9 to 5.11. Like most routes I've climbed at Kenny Mountain, I don't know the names or given grades of most of the pitches.
