Sitting in the foothills southwest of Denver, Staunton State Park is a pleasant location to do some cragging. The majority of the routes at Staunton are single-pitch purely sport or mixed lines, but there are also a few multi-pitch and/or trad routes in the area.
The first (and only so far) time I climbed at Staunton State Park was in early spring of 2024. We discovered it was still a bit chilly and too early in the season for some of the areas we wanted to climb, so I feel as if I need to come back to get a better impression of what the area has to offer.
On this page, I give photos from climbing in Staunton State Park, organized by date. At the bottom of the page, I keep a list of the climbs I've done in Staunton State Park.
